  I grew facial hair about a month after I left. I always wanted to grow it out but for obvious reasons never did. I decided to do it so I could finally be myself and if I ran accross any JW's there would be no mistaking that I wanted nothing to do with their religion. If it wasn't for my work, I would have a well kept beard. My line of work however requiers, by OSHA, that I have no facial hair between my skin and the respirators I have to wear. I shave it in a way that keeps it inside the seal. This is one of the three types I regularly wear.

  JeffT- What part of Washington are you from if you don't mind me asking? I was born and raised in Kennewick right on the Columbia River. Then moved to Olympia in 2003.

  Thanks FlyingHighNow, but the bulk of the credit goes to my wife. I'd post one of her but I think she wouldn't be happy if I did. maybe one day

  I love the cool, the wet, the dark. Nonetheless, I am saddened at the departure of sun and blue sky.

  I agree with this. My wife and I moved from the Seattle region to Colorado. While I enjoyed the cool, rainy, darker days, it does start to weigh on you and if your prone to depression, it sucks. I love Colorado. Mostly sunny beautiful days. I don't really miss Washington. We have had a few inches of snow along the front range this season so far but then a few days latter the sun shines and the big blue sky emerges. We need balance.

  Thanks Yadda Yadda. I was a little apprehensive about posting any pics but since I had the last difficult conversation, which was with my sister, I figure I have nothing to loose. No one here locally in the borg have anything to do with me and if they found out how I feel nothing would change other than possibly a JC meeting which I would not attend. I have a letter ready to go if they get pushy. If I go out, it will be on my terms not theirs.
